(LFC Comments: Morris Beverage of Lakeland Community College tells their employees about enrollment at LCC. Summer 2020 enrollment is down 48%, and the fall enrollment is down 41%. The State of Ohio cut their funding by $800,000 for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020. No word on the funding for the July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021 fiscal year.
This is a financial disaster for all concerned. They are going to have to make some major cost cutting measures to weather this storm. We hope that they are not considering increasing local property taxes to cover their operating expenses.)
