I’m Ross McDonald and I have the pleasure being the Director of Elections for Lake County. Without a doubt, this has been the most challenging election cycle I’ve faced in my 10 years of election administration. Deputy Director Jan Clair agrees that she’s seen nothing like this one.

Although this election and the challenges it brings has just begun, I have no doubt that Lake County’s election will go off without a hitch because of the dedication from people like you.

Our records indicate that at one time you showed an interest in serving as a poll worker for the Lake County Board of Elections. You might be a current or former poll worker – if so, I thank you for your service.

I need to ask you a favor. At this time, we are looking to fill the final positions on our early voting poll worker team. These positions pay $11.00/hour with paid overtime. The positions will be active from October 6 – November 2. Ideal candidates will be available full-time throughout the duration of the early voting period; however, part-time schedules will be considered where possible. Will you consider joining our early voting team?
