We were sent the new Vivek Ramaswamy campaign ad. Somebody is listening….Unfortunately, it also takes the legislators to save freedom, liberty and the American dream for Ohio citizens. Governors cannot do it on their own and campaign promises are just that – promises.
We wonder what House Speaker Matt Huffman, Senate President and Lieutenant Governor candidate Rob McColley, think about Mr. Ramaswamy’s new commercial?
What we know –
We know that State Senator and Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, Jerry Cirino, and State Representative Rodney Creech (D-40) are adamantly opposed to abolishing property taxes. We know that Representative Brian Stewart (D-12) did not want to help us with the abolishing property tax movement. We also know that Representative Bill Roemer (DD-31) does not care if Ohioans have their free speech censured when speaking at a Ohio House committee meeting.
We know that there is a lack of care for Ohioans by Ohio legislators. When we rented a room at the Ohio Statehouse and invited every Senator and Representative, only a handful of legislative aides attended.
We know that Chairman Michael Sweeney and the Libertarian Party are solidly behind the movement to abolish Ohio property taxes. Republican Governor Candidate Heather Hill expressed support multiple times for the abolishment of Ohio property taxes.
We have reached out several times to the Democrat Governor candidate, Dr. Amy Acton. Unfortunately, to date, we have received no response from their campaign.
To all Ohio politicians – You shall be judged by your fruits! You are either for the people of Ohio, or you are against them by supporting your donor base. Supporting libraries (Ohio libraries are number 1 in the country for state funding – by a lot.) over local police, fire and roads shows a real lack of concern for local communities. Supporting data centers over the citizens’ basic rights to drinking water and electricity again shows your amazing lack of concern for the average citizens.
May we remind you again that you swore and oath to support and defend the Ohio Constitution. In case you forgot, here is the very first article to the constitution.
Article I, Section 1 | Inalienable Rights – Effective September 1, 1851
“All men are, by nature, free and independent, and have certain inalienable rights, among which are those of enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring, possessing, and protecting property, and seeking and obtaining happiness and safety.”
The Republican Party has been in charge for decades…you own the current state of affairs on Ohio.
Here is the Ramaswamy campaign ad{
Owning your home is a cornerstone of the American Dream. But for too many Ohio families and seniors, skyrocketing property taxes are making it impossible to hold on to what they’ve worked a lifetime to build.
Today, the Vivek for Ohio campaign launched “Cornerstone,” a new statewide ad highlighting Vivek Ramaswamy’s plan to deliver real property tax relief — rolling back rates to levels seen before the end of the COVID pandemic, while protecting police and fire services and supporting stronger public schools.
In the ad, Ohio senior homeowner Roger Walker puts it simply: property taxes keep going up, costing seniors everything they’ve worked for — and making it impossible for the next generation to afford their first homes. Vivek believes when you own your home, you’re in charge.
This is part of the historic $10 million ad buy that launched on March 13, running statewide across broadcast, cable, streaming, and digital platforms.
“Vivek knows property taxes are crushing Ohio’s seniors and working families. That’s why delivering real property tax relief has been a top priority since Day 1. He’s listening to Ohioans and offering real policy solutions to make life more affordable, while our opponent offers nothing more than empty promises that will cost Ohioans more.”— Jonathan Ewing, Campaign Manager, Vivek Ramaswamy for Ohio
Since receiving President Donald Trump’s endorsement on the first day of his campaign and the Ohio Republican Party’s endorsement in May 2025, Vivek has built a broad coalition of support from conservative lawmakers, community leaders, labor unions, law enforcement, and business leaders across the state.
That momentum translated into record-breaking fundraising in 2025 — with the campaign raising $19.8 million, the largest single-year total in Ohio gubernatorial history, with an average contribution of just $76.
