We had a request for information about the existing Willoughby-Eastlake School District’s property tax levies. Here is the Lake County Auditor’s Schedule A that provides the details.
Please note that the school district likes the “emergency” levies because they are not subject to the impact of H.B. 920. (millage reduced to compensate for the inflation factor on home values) A “general” levy passed in 1976 originally was for 32.50 mills, but now collects 17.523773 mils as a result of H.B. 920.
