From the Lake County Health Department website here are the updated “Stay at Homes” rules and regulations promulgated by the now famous Dr. Amy Acton, Director of Health for the State of Ohio.
There is one item in particular that we would like to bring to your attention. On page 9, item number 18 reads as follows:
“A violation of R.C. 3701.352 is guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, which can include a fine of not more that $750, or not more than 90 days in jail, or both.”
Do you know what the fine is for a politician or bureaucrat that violates the State of Ohio’s Open Meeting Act? It is $500, with no jail time, and any losses are paid out of the general fund not their own personal bank account!
So those that write the rules to control the population will “bring the hammer down” on any citizen that dare violate their mandates. However, a politician can violate the rights of a citizen during a public meeting without bearing any personal responsibility.

I wonder if the Commissioners are busy making plans to waive July’s Real Estate tax payment while they stay at home collecting their salaries, or is sacrifice only for the “little” people.
Absurd. Seems many politicians enjoy “feathering their own bed”. Never mind the taxpayers who pay their salaries.
