LFC Comments: Just when you thought it was safe to go outside, we start to see campaign signs for 2022!…Please give us a break!!!! The following Facebook post shows Morris Beverage III (his father is running the show at Lakeland Community College) all giddy about running for Lake County Commissioner.

Mr. Beverage was asked on Facebook which Commissioner he will be running against (John Plecnik or Ron Young). He stated that he was undecided and both seats are “OPEN”. Note to Mr. Beverage, we understand that both incumbents are planning to run for office again, so the seats are not “open”.

Another huge, we mean HUGE, question: It appears that Beverage and Jason Wuliger are in the same line of work – investment management. Please see the News-Herald article below that provides some insight to Beverage’s current full-time job.

Wuliger resigned his position before his first meeting because of a “conflict of interest” with the County finances and his investment business. How do the citizens know that Beverage will not bail, if he wins election? Here are a couple of articles we wrote about Mr. Wuliger’s surprise resignation and those that wanted to replace him.

We will follow this announcement very closely, and we will be looking closely for some public speaking engagements that Mr. Beverage will introduce himself to the Lake County voters. The video recorder never lies.
