I will have to plead guilty to being naïve. When asked to join a Mentor protest, I held this sign and thought to myself that no one could object to this “STOP COMMUNISM” sign. I was so very wrong…I heard words from drivers that would have made a sailor blush!!!
Houston, we have a problem!!!
Thanks to a Country Boy Lobbyist for sending this song to me. There is a phrase in the song that resonated with me. “…it’s time we found just how our neighbors stand”.
I was asked to explain the difference between socialism and communism? My answer: “The size of the gun!”.
