We believe any tax that is unpaid, causing the citizen to be homeless, is immoral. Something must be done to stop taxing people out of their homes!

We are keeping the Commissioners aware of what we are doing for the citizens of Lake County. It is important that taxpayers know how they will be impacted in 2024 – 2025 with the approximately 30% increase in market valuation of residential property.

We have been working on the property tax issue for a very long time. Here is a letter dated September 1, 2017 that we sent to Ms. Shelley Wilson, Executive Director of the Ohio Tax Equalization Division. We will send Ms. Wilson a new public records request regarding the HB 920 impact on Lake County School Districts.
