Sheila Caruso was very concerned about her rising property tax bill, and she wanted to sign the petition that she had heard about. She called the Gazette newspaper and they gave her my contact number. She called me and since we did not have a circulator in her area, I drove to her house. She signed our petition, and wanted to become a circulator, so I left several petition packets with her.
Her personal story touched me, and I asked if she would not mind sharing the story so that the politicians can see what their inaction for the past several decades has done to the average citizen in this State. While the politicians are protecting their donor base, they have deceived and betrayed the citizens that they purport to represent.
Our Committee to Abolish Ohio Property Taxes, and the growing army of volunteers, are committed to representing the citizens, and will never give up the fight to restore their freedom and liberty.
Note to State Representatives, State Senators, other State elected officials, and candidates for Governor – ignoring the average citizens’ demands for drastic changes in Ohio’s tax structure will not be a winning strategy for you in 2026 election cycle.
