We sent the following email to all State of Ohio legislators. We will follow up in two weeks with the responses we receive from the legislators.
Honorable Senator,
We are conducting a survey of all Ohio legislators. We would like to know if you will sign our petition to abolish Ohio property taxes.
The Senator from District 18, Jerry Cirino, has made his position on the issue very clear in a video that we recorded in Willoughby Hills last week
We would like to remind you of your oath to follow the Ohio Constitution, and Article 1 of the Constitution:
Effective: September 1, 1851
“All men are, by nature, free and independent, and have certain inalienable rights, among which are those of enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring, possessing, and protecting property, and seeking and obtaining happiness and safety.”
Please respond to one of the following options:
1. Yes, I have signed it
2. Yes, I will sign it
3. No
4. No – I am with Jerry
5. Unsure
Please respond by November 15th to this email. We will let the citizens of Ohio know your response.
