Another very important election is about to commence. Let’s face it, they all are important. Early voting starts on Tuesday, October 6th. Here is a previous post we made on the early voting schedule.
Here are the candidates and issues that we will be voting on. It is on legal size paper, so you will have to scroll down (use the bar on the right) to see the entire ballot.
After looking at the ballot for the judges, I wonder why we vote for judges if they always run unopposed? Why is the party affiliation listed for some judges but not all of them. Sorry, we have more questions than answers on this subject.
Judge Marisa L. Cornachio is fortunate that she is running unopposed for the 11th District Court of Appeals. We will be very interested in the October 8th trial in the Willoughby Courthouse between Senator Jerry CiRINO and Donald Byrnes (a.k.a. “The Rooster”). We will be recording the trial. Judge Cornachio issued an arrest warrant for the Rooster because he sent CiRINO a naked picture of the cartoon character Shrek, and a couple of text messages….Oh, the humanity….
Riverside School District has a 1% earned income tax levy on the ballot. If any Concord official tell you that there are no income tax levies allowed in Townships, please remind them about the Riverside School District.
Concord Township is trying to renew a property tax levy. It is 2.7 mills for another 5 years. It will cost taxpayers $49 for every $100,000 of market value.
