We are having an increasingly difficult time believing this pandemic all started with some Chinese citizens eating “Bat Soup”. Nothing happens in this world without someone wanting it to happen. There may be multiple agendas going on behind the scenes. Never let a good crisis go to waste!)

Greetings!
Per my email last evening, as I have had been receiving info from clients and friends from New York to Chicago to California to Europe and updates about various forms of “lockdown”, shelter in place, etc…., I thought I would share as much as possible so better decisions can be made by you for you and your family as well as for the country!!
BTW, I do not write these for my own edification: I follow the dictum:
Speaking to members of the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society that day, Wendell Phillips in 1852 said:
“Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty; power is ever stealing from the many to the few. The manna of popular liberty must be gathered each day or it is rotten. The living sap of today outgrows the dead rind of yesterday. The hand entrusted with power becomes, either from human depravity or esprit de corps, the necessary enemy of the people. Only by continued oversight can the democrat in office be prevented from hardening into a despot; only by unintermitted agitation can a people be sufficiently awake to principle not to let liberty be smothered in material prosperity.”
However for practical application today until we can get back to the above admonition: The best summary is from Governor Newson’s office in California of what shelter in place looks like since the country cannot just shut down 330M people indefinitely or constantly.
In New York it is a bit more draconian since Governor Cuomo’s attitude is” “….that I must stop you from hurting me and others” – more nonsense as usual.
My take: The shutdown hurts and will hurt with increase in anxiety, depression, suicide, increase in alcoholism, increase in opioid use, domestic violence, building to increases in burglary, robbery (which we have plenty of in Ohio City in “normal” times) leading to potential riots, looting, more mayhem in general, etc, etc..
With unemployment hitting staggering numbers since so many small companies will be killed off. ($1,000 per month per person backed with no productivity is also a recipe for disaster – inflation and more).

Also many of my clients have started to refuse to or not submit government payments e.g. sales tax, state withholding, etc, etc since they do not have the funds, cannot afford it, need it for working capital or are concluding that they may be out of business soon if the economic shutdown continues….so “the hell with it”………government revenues will drop precipitously?
A good chunk of the country’s economy is shut down for a “pandemic” of 26,000 cases and 364 deaths whereas flu season had 65 million cases with 400,000 hospitalized and 35,000 to 70,000 deaths, but we do not call that a pandemic since “flu season” is around “all the time” (compare the stats)….BUT call it a pandemic, give it a fancy name, tell us it is more contagious and bad on old people and people with compromised immune systems and rough on breathing and the lungs and 354 deaths = a shutdown. This is ‘doubled down” with the British study of up to 1 million+ deaths……………they literally make this up as did the fraudster known as our state medical director of 10% of the population being infected – whose interview you should have watched from my last email with her and Governor DeWine on Tucker Carlson – they came across as two buffoons and many see why government officials are so hard to trust, besides many other reasons, which is an essay for another day…………
Also Cleveland Clinic and Ohio Department of Health refuse to release stats on CV testing that shows negligible amounts of cases after the test is administered.
In Europe it includes travel ban and border lock down between EU member states with the Scandanavian states being more into “medical martial law” (to complex to get into at this point)
From others in government:
Here is article in Military Times from 3 days ago. Ohio isn’t in their list of states with description of current operations, but it is clear the governor can utilize them.
I have read in a couple local papers about the National Guard coming in starting this Monday. They say not to worry. They are not coming in with guns, per se, but are coming into Ohio to work at 12 food banks around Ohio. The local Lorain County Second Harvest Food Bank director is quoted in the newspaper [paraphrased], “We welcome them as part of food delivery service family”…

Hi! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website? I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
the porch like mom’s not home me why the best names feel so wrong somehow they take so long right we were back the third installment
in the series where I read my rejected Stanford supplement essays yeah like I said I’d heard
a lot from you guys about how you may have gotten rejected
from your top schools and I was definitely in your shoes last year when I got rejected from Stanford but I support a lot of my
heart and soul and a lot of time into these three supplement essays I pretty much spent a
whole month just trying to get all of these essays perfect I believe they were some of
the best essays I wrote honestly I think they were better than my Yale supplements but
you know with the college application process it’s very
random you never know where you’re gonna end up but I felt bad about
not sharing these essays with you guys so today I
will be sharing my third essay and this essay Stanford entitled is what matters to you so the prompt is literally just what matters to you
and why so I chose to write about my family but a very specific aspect
of my family I hope you guys enjoy here you go family is paramount
so I buried my face in his camouflage uniform tears began to roll down my face he climbed onto
the plane and my thoughts shifted to the future I wouldn’t see my father again for a year
while he was gone to the war-torn abyss of Baghdad Iraq I looked around at my four younger siblings and mother they were my responsibility
now I didn’t realize the importance of family in my life until I had
to cope with the long term absence of my father he played a pivotal role in the structure and function of my daily
life with the immense stress placed on my mother I had to
rise to the occasion my duties now included babysitting shopping tutoring and driving my younger siblings
to their activities much more was expected of me than most kids
my age especially with the shadow of my father that I
attempted to fill my father’s deployments made me value the family dinner
table conversations and marathon road trips I did once endeared I now stayed up late in the night just to catch a blurry glimpse of my father on a
Skype call I learned during these tough time the importance of family
and how it motivated me to succeed in the classroom and beyond role modeling and
success for my siblings was my charge I would embrace the opportunity to mop
I would embrace the opportunity to apply myself to work
hard at Stanford and continued to model success for my family
all right that is it that concludes my series where I read my rejected Stanford supplement
essays that was that was number three that was the
what matters to you and why essay once again short and sweet only 250 words
but I hope it gave you a little bit more perspective on what your essay should look like like
I said this was just my personal take on the essay there’s a lot of different ways you can go especially
with this prompt I wish you guys I wish you guys the best of luck in the
college application process and realized that even if you do get
rejected from your top schools that you will end up somewhere where you can take advantage of every
opportunity you’re given college is what you make of it so I wish you guys the best if you enjoyed this video if you enjoyed this series if you’d like to see something similar in the
future I know college applications are kind of died down but scholarship season is starting I don’t know if you have any ideas for that make sure to drop
them down in the comments below and make sure
to LIKE the video if you if you even remotely enjoyed
it I do a lot they help a lot more than you think if you’re new make sure to
subscribe you definitely won’t regret it as always I’ll be back again in a couple days with another video see
you next year [Music]
