Want to Hear a Dirty Little Secret About Property Taxes?

By Brian Massie, A Watchman on the Wall

Representative Mike Dovilla held a Town Hall meeting in his district. His guest was Representative David Thomas – a property tax guru, and rising star in Ohio politics.

We live-streamed the event for Joe Miller’s and Kent Kuholski’s Ohio Political News. Here is the complete video of the meeting.

We also recorded the event for LFC and edited the video to highlight Rep. David Thomas answering our questions on the Cupp Reports, and the role of the Budget Commission for each county.

If you want to hear the “little dirty secret” about the public school districts, go to the 9:44 minute mark of the video. No public entity must accept the unvoted increases in property taxes. Do you think the Lake County school districts even gave a thought about the taxpayers? Those in the know, call this a huge “money grab”. Unfortunately, school district funding will continue to increase without a vote of the taxpayers because of the immoral 20 mill floor.

Unless, State officials can control school funding, it does not matter what form of taxation we consider, we will collapse because the government entities are outgrowing the private sector’s ability to pay for the services.

Here is schedule detailing the amount of money the Lake County school districts taxing authorities will receive in 2025 without a vote of the taxpayers.

If you are wondering why your taxes went up, this schedule shows the main reason. Not one school district chose to give money back to the citizens that are being taxed out of their homes.

If you vote for any more property tax levies, you will be funding your own demise.

Our friend Lily is quite animated over property taxes, and she has a couple of messages for you.

ANY TAX CAUSING A CITIZEN TO BECOME HOMELESS IS IMMORAL.

We just heard that the State of Florida and Illinois are discussing the possibility of eliminating property taxes. We are going to need new leadership in Ohio for us to shake up the establish “Uniparty”. We keep recycling the same players in leadership position, and therefore, nothing will change in Ohio without new leadership.
