We received a very detailed letter from Mr. Joseph R. Tomsick, Chief Executive Officer of the Lake County Council on Aging. The letter is in response to request for statistics on how many Concord residents benefit from the Senior Levy.

I will be giving Mr. Tomsick’s response to the Concord Township’s administrator to add to their website.
So the decision is up to you to vote for or against the levy. As lobbyists for citizens, one of our roles is to present the facts to the taxpayers; and, unless we see some high negatives on an issue, to be silent and to let the voters decide the fate of the issue. They do have an impressive number of volunteers (663) that makes that organization function.
