Deepwood image“Each year the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities/Deepwood invests Title XX funds in adult day or vocational supports and transportation for people who do not have Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Waiver or other funding.

Our Adult Services Program involves services ranging from habilitative non-vocational supports to develop and enhance personal care, social, leisure and community skills to pre-vocational, group-employment and individual employments supports provided to individuals who are working in the community.  These funds are allocated from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities quarterly based on submission of service units provided.

For the three most recent federal fiscal years, we received:

FY 2017                 $118,673
FY2018                  $117,708
FY2019                  Budgeted to receive $117,709

The Title XX funds enable us to provide supports to individuals who would otherwise require 100% local funding.

Thank you and have a great day~

Jodi Travers
