LFC’s mission is ensure that honesty and transparency is upheld at all levels of government.  We were very glad to see two Ohio lawmakers introduce legislation adding additional protection for whistle-blowers.

Thanks to the Democrats for having the courage to stand up for the average citizen, and just “doing the right thing”.

And where are the Republicans on this issue?  ……perhaps they are too busy working on another tax increase…..caving in to the public schools’ lobbyists can be a strain….maybe too busy agreeing with the Chamber of Commerce lobbyists to forget that the U.S. is a sovereign nation, and allowing for open borders in order to depress the wages of the average citizen…..Oh yes, it can be very tiring counting the money from the special interest groups lobbyists…

There are lobbyists for a myriad of special interest groups that “feather their own nest” to the detriment of the average citizen.  What we do not have enough of are “Lobbyists for Citizens” groups throughout the State ensuring that our politicians at all levels are caring for average citizens working in the public sector.

Note to Republicans leaders: When you insist that you are for “border security”, but sit on your hands when you have a chance to secure our southern border, then you have lost sight of your basic role to protect the citizens of your district.

We will be watching how our Ohio Republicans conduct themselves on this whistle-blower protection legislation.
