Looks like the Republican Party has selected their candidate for Commissioner Cirino’s position on the ballot next year. We are assuming that it is Cirino’s seat because they have verbally given their assurance to the party’s faithful that Commissioner Hamercheck will not be “primaryed”. We are not sure that is a valid word, but it means that the Party will not support someone running against him in the primary election. We have not heard if the Party again will not financially support Commissioner Hamercheck – just as they have not done in other elections. [LFC just reports, and will never endorse or not endorse any candidate from any Party.]
