From the Lake County Board of Election’ website, here are the election results for the Willoughby-Eastlake School special election. Twenty percent (8,928/44,634) of the registered voters have defeated the levy by a very large margin [78.4% – 21.6%]. Anticipating that the levy may be defeated, the Superintendent and the School Board have placed the levy on the ballot in November, 2019.
we hope that this trend continues in November when Lake County citizens start letting the politicians and the bureaucrats know that we will not permit them to tax us out of our homes by continually increasing property taxes!
We hope that more citizens will register to vote and more registered voters will actually take the time to vote.
