RESOLUTION TO SUPPORT PARENTS, SCHOOLS, AND DISTRICTS IN REJECTING HARMFUL, COERCIVE, AND BURDENSOME GENDER IDENTITY POLICIES AND TO PROTECT FEDERAL FUNDING SUBJECT TO TITLE IX
[And here is the proposed email. Copy and paste, alter as you might like, and DONT FORGET to sign YOUR NAME at the bottom]
Dear Board of Education Members:
I am writing in SUPPORT of Resolution 27, Supporting Parents, Schools, and Districts in Rejecting Harmful, Coercive, and Burdensome Gender Identity Policies.
I urge you in the strongest possible terms to VOTE to SUPPORT this Resolution. Please do not support any efforts to DELAY this vote or send this into a committee process. Time is of the essence.
Because of the egregious actions of the Biden administration, this issue has been thrust upon all students. Districts across Ohio are already changing policies and looking for guidance on this issue. We do not have time to let this bill flounder in committee. We must act NOW.
Ohio’s school children need you to stand up to this appalling federal overreach. The proposed Title IX changes would be disastrous for parents and children, so I urge you to stand up for our kids NOW.
DELAY the vote: NO
SEND the issue to committee: NO
PASS the Resolution immediately: YES
Vote YES on Resolution 27. Show Ohio’s parents that you are willing to stand up for our children.
Thank you for your representation,
