This great article by Phil Hotsenpiller clearly elucidates the growing problem in our great nation. It begs the question: Is our 250 year experiment over?

“As America celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we are reminded that our nation was founded upon one revolutionary truth: our rights do not come from government—they come from God.
That single conviction separated America from every monarchy and empire that came before it.
The Founders boldly declared that all men “are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights.” Government’s role was not to invent those rights but to protect them. Liberty, therefore, was never intended to flow downward from the state. It flowed upward from a sovereign God through a free and self-governing people.
Two hundred and fifty years later, that foundational principle is under increasing pressure.
America’s greatest threat today is not merely economic, military, or geopolitical. It is ideological. Quietly and steadily, the philosophy of socialism has gained influence throughout our culture—not always under its historical name, but through the growing belief that government should become the primary provider, protector, educator, financier, and even moral authority for society.
The danger is not found in every individual policy debated in Washington. It is found in the underlying assumption that government can solve humanity’s deepest problems.”

“At 250 years old, America stands at a crossroads. Our nation enjoys extraordinary blessings purchased through the sacrifice of previous generations, yet many Americans have forgotten the spiritual foundations that produced those blessings. We celebrate freedom while often neglecting the virtues required to sustain it. We demand rights while ignoring responsibilities. We expect government to repair what only moral renewal can truly restore.”

As we pull back the curtain on Ohio’s ever-increasing property taxes pricing people out of their homes, and preventing the next generations from even owing a home; we clearly see that the problem is more than a dollar and cents issue.
Is private property ownership important?
If you are uncertain about the answer to that question, please recognize that the foundational tenet of communism is the abolition of private property.
Private property ownership is the foundation of our freedom and liberty. It allows for families to get out of poverty by allowing the transfer of wealth from one generation to another.
As we continue to pull back the curtain even further, we see an even bigger problem that is the root of the problem, and if not reversed, we will pay a heavy price.
We are an ungodly, uneducated, and immoral society that has turned our backs to God.

If you have not read the Bible, we would suggest attending a Bible study and immersing yourself in the revealed Word of God.
Isaiah 5:20 has always resonated with me. It is a warning of moral relativism and spiritual blindness.
As we speak throughout the State of Ohio about property taxes, we remind people that “Love thy Neighbor” is a commandment not a suggestion. Far too many people think if their neighbors cannot pay their property taxes that is their problem, and they should sell their home and move into an apartment.
We ask all Ohioans to “Join the Fight” to abolish Ohio property taxes. Go to AxOHTax.com and get more information. Save freedom and liberty this and future generations, and do not let socialism or communism replace our constitutional republic. The only difference between socialism and communism is “the size of the gun”!
We will answer our own question: “Is our 250 year experiment over?”
