Calling Out the Geauga County Fair Board Members

By Brian Massie, A Watchman on the Wall

We are calling out the Geauga County Fair Board members for trying to shut us down from collecting signatures at the Geauga County Fair. Here is what A.I. generated for us:

The Geauga County Agricultural Society (Fair Board) is governed by 21 elected directors representing the county’s townships and at-large positions, led by President Wendy Anderson and Vice President Keith Chapman.

Board Officers

  • Wendy Anderson – President (Parkman Twp.)
  • Keith Chapman – Vice President (Montville Twp.)
  • Meg Noah – Secretary
  • Diana Cochran – Treasurer

Board Directors by Term Expiration:

The board’s 21 directors serve staggered terms expiring in October of 2026, 2027, and 2028:

  • Term Expiring October 2026: Curt Canfield, Cheryl Carr, Keith Chapman, Jim McCaskey, Esther White, Doug Logan, Mark Shaver, and Bob Phillips.
  • Term Expiring October 2027: Wendy Anderson, Dale Ryan, Tyler Plants, Howard Bates, Terry Zion, Carl Langer, and Brian Workman.
  • Term Expiring October 2028: David Parker, Pam Krotzer, Matt Dolence, Scott Mihalic, Mike Sestak Jr., and Tim Blair.

They would not sell us a booth within the fairgrounds, and even told us that we could not be on private property within 1,000 feet of the fair entrance. They even told the Sheriff’s Department when the fair started to shut our booth down located on private property. The Sheriff Department reminded them that it is PRIVATE PROPERTY. They may have had more luck if they contacted Senator CRINO, his recent actions demonstrate his aversion to free speech.

We did not realize that there are so many socialists in Geauga County. Freedom and liberty is not their goal, and private property only counts when it is THEIR PROPERTY. Support the government at all costs is their motto because they are getting money from the State of Ohio. Love thy neighbor is merely a suggestion, and not a commandment for the Geauga County Fair Board members.

Here is a picture of our response to the directors of the fair board.

We are mad as hell, and we are not going to take it anymore.

Private property ownership is the foundation of freedom and liberty. If you do not own property, you are the property.
