The specter of Amy Sabath has reared its head again at Lakeland Community College. Here is an article we published on July 8, 2025.
We attended a special meeting at Lakeland today to get to listen to the Chairman Paul Rupert’s Trustees say the pledge of allegiance and then go into Executive session to listen to their attorney about pending litagtion.
We sent a public record’s request for information on the settlement agreement. Needless to say, we will issue additional request if Lakeland’s Chairman of the Board Paul Rupert continues to hide things from the taxpayers.
Lakeland has had quite a bit of experience with employee lawsuits. Here is an article on Steve Oluic settlement that cost the taxpayers $350,000 in payments to Mr. Oluic and has attorney.
