We gave all Ohio Senators, and Representatives until November 15th to complete our survey asking if they would sign the petition to abolish Ohio property taxes.
Here are the results:
To the best of our knowledge, only Representative Jennifer Gross (District 45) and Tex Fischer (District 59) signed the petition. Representative Rodney Creech (District 40) had the courage to tell us that he would not sign the petition. The rest of the Senators and Representative showed their true colors and failed to provide us with a response to the survey.
Except for Representative Gross and Fischer, we, regretfully, must acknowledge that the rest are socialists, believing in big government as the solution to society’s problems. They are not following their oath of office to support the U.S. and Ohio’s Constitution protecting private property rights. They will not even support the right of giving citizens the chance to vote on the issue of abolishing property taxes in Ohio.
Protection of property is a God given right that cannot be taken away by government. Unless, that is, if you are an Ohio legislator that only worries about protecting themselves and getting re-elected. Here is Lake County Commissioner and former State Representative Ron Young pulling back the curtain on Ohio legislators.
It appears that everyone, but Gross and Fischer, supports the current school funding formula. The legislators from both sides of the aisle call it constitutional without the Ohio Supreme Court even ruling on the current funding formula. That is not surprising, since past legislators chose to ignore the Ohio Supreme Court ruling on the DeRolph case on the school funding formula. So we are not surprised that the current batch of legislators deem themselves to be omnipotent rulers.
We are more than a bit surprised that local Representatives David Thomas and Sarah Fowler are supporting the socialists agenda. We remember when Sarah Fowler was a staunch patriot looking out for the average citizens.
Representative Dan Troy clearly defines the purest form of socialism in the video we recorded at his townhall meeting.
Good old Senator Jerry Cirino told the citizens very clearly of his secret socialist leanings in this video when he told everyone not to sign the petition. He declared war on the citizens of Ohio!
Here is our message to Senate President Rob McColley and the Speaker of the House Matt Huffman about their socialist leanings.
