Goodyear employees say new zero-tolerance policy from Akron HQ is discriminatory
[LFC Comments: In a diversity training session, Goodyear informed their employees what is acceptable and what is not acceptable to be promoted by their employees while on company grounds.
In our opinion, it is the company’s prerogative to establish whatever rules they want; and we, as consumers, have the choice of buying their products or not. Employees have the option of working there or not.
However, be advised this takes the cancel culture up a notch. Now the large companies want to weigh in on morality, and demand that their employees conform, accept and embrace immorality.
Wonder what would happen if a Goodyear employee wore a t-shirt with the image of Jesus Christ or a cross??? The Human Resource Department probably would be scrambling to have the employee removed before he or she infected other employees with their faith.
We are not only in a cultural war, but a spiritual one as well.]

“Goodyear executives in Topeka, Kansas warned employees this week during diversity training that they could be reprimanded for wearing accessories that promote or support law enforcement like Blue Lives Matter at work. The executives training said face coverings, t-shirts and accessories that promote Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ, however, would be acceptable.”
“Say what? After this story broke this week Goodyear executives in Kansas said the employee lied about the information given to a local news station, that is until this audio recording leaked Thursday of the diversity training.”
